PENINSULA MUSIC CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED is a network of Independent Music Tutors (Our Members) who work in the Wirral and Cheshire Areas.
Both as individuals and as a collective, we are committed to providing high-quality music education. We want to make sure that all children and young people have access to outstanding musical opportunities, led by tutors which share this vision.
Our Mission
As a Co-operative, we are a collective voice for Independent Music Tutors and together we aim to provide excellent music tuition, provide access to varied musical opportunities, and to ensure sustainability in both instrumental learning and music education as a whole.
Our Members work as a consortium network of Independent Music Tutors to offer professional lessons both within schools, and within other environments. As a Co-operative we are able to share resources, champion Best Practices, and work together to maintain the high standards of music education we believe the children and young people deserve.
Who are our members?
Our members are Independent, Professional Music Tutors who are experienced in providing high quality instrumental and vocal tuition. Many of our tutors have worked for the Music Service, are experienced in leading and supporting ensembles, and have been involved in broader music education initiatives such as First Access courses, and special one-off projects.
Our Members are passionate about music education; highly skilled and highly motivated, and commited to enriching the musical experiences of children and young people in Wirral and Cheshire.

Shared Resources
As an Independent Music Tutor, it's easy to feel like you have to create all your resources from scratch.At Peninsula Music Co-operative Ltd., co-operation really is the key, so we have a page within our Member's Area for our tutors to share resources and materials with each other.

The Members' Area is a private area accessible only by Members of Peninsula Music Co-operative Ltd. and it is here you will have access to the Co-operative's policies and shared resources, along with regular updates in the blog. Contributions are welcome from all Members!
